We are in love with CoreOS and its environment (Docker, Systemd, Fleet) and even though we have seen many blog posts all over the internet about it, we haven't seen anyone using CoreOS on a Jenkins Slave so far. Why not? On this blog post, we are sharing our setup guide, I hope you find it useful!
Like every business, we want to hire the best employees. This poses a problem though, if every business wants to hire the best employees, we need to find a way to stand out and have them apply to us. Then, when we do get great applicants applying, we need to make sure we can evaluate them thoroughly and choose the best person for our company.
We've welcomed two new faces to the Red Guava team recently; Charles, our new growth hacker, and Alex, who's joining the support guys. Which means new faces to illustrate and add to the Red Guava map on the homepage.
Back in December 2012 when I was applying for the job as designer at Red Guava, I asked Joel if he would be open to allowing me to redesign the Cliniko logo. He replied, “I never rule out anything but we have done a lot of branding work already and have got some great recognition for our logo. There would need to be business sense in doing so.” I took that as a yes and didn't look back.
It's hard enough to get someone to sign up for your service from your website. Don't make it any harder by asking too much of your potential customer. Getting them to click on something when they have no idea what will happen next can be a real deterrent in your signup workflow.
