Growth Hacker at Red Guava

Too late! This job has been filled.

We are looking for an amazing Growth Hacker to join our team at Red Guava. This doesn’t mean you need to have 5+ years experience in the industry; we care more about skill and passion than credentials.

Who we are

We are a small, bootstrapped and profitable software company based in Melbourne, Australia called Red Guava. We love building software and working with talented people.

We build a product called Cliniko. Cliniko makes life easy for Allied Health professionals by handling appointment scheduling, storing treatment notes and a bunch of other things too. It is already used globally by thousands of people every day.

How we work

We work smarter, not harder. We think work/life balance is important and we work a 30 hour week as standard (you still get a full-time pay; it’s a full-time position).

We have flexible work hours and location is flexible too. Some of us work in our office in South East Melbourne, but not all (we have team members in the UK, USA, Poland and Brazil). We would rather hire the best person available, not just the best person within a 10km radius.

The job

You’ll spend your time growing our customer base for Cliniko. We think Cliniko is the best software in the world for Allied Health practitioners. You’ll be doing them a favour by getting them on board.

Also, to be clear up front, we care a lot about ethics, integrity and our reputation. We’ll never do anything dubious to gain customers.

Things you might be doing include:

  • Managing our online advertising campaigns.
  • A/B testing our marketing website.
  • Evaluating the sign-up workflow and implementing improvements.
  • Finding new places to advertise.
  • Evaluating user behaviour to assist with improving conversions.

Thing you will be doing:

  • Increasing our growth rate.

It will be a big bonus if you can code. We use Ruby on Rails primarily.

You

Let’s be clear, you need to be seriously amazing. We are a small team (10 right now) and we want to keep it that way. We will offer you the best job you have ever had with plenty of perks, but we expect you to be super-talented.

You also need to be able to work autonomously (we don’t do typical management, we expect you to see what needs to be done and just do it).

If you don’t think you can significantly improve our already high growth rate for Cliniko, you really shouldn’t apply. This is for someone that will get in there and make a big impact on our business.

How to apply

Write Joel a nice email to apply for this job.

In your job application, tell us about something innovative you’ve done for growth and how it went.

Please don’t send a resume; we will print it out and burn it and you'll feel bad about all the wasted paper.

Being creative is always looked upon favourably.
